After getting permit for myself, It was time to get permission for my bike. I already had sets of photocopies of all the desired documents. I got my permit photocopied from a nearby stationary shop. Thereafter,I headed towards the Bus Depot/Terminal which was hardly a kilometer away from ‘customs office’. The big building of the bus stand also house few offices of the Transport department. I parked my bike outside and went to the second floor to get the bike’s permit.

Documents required to get permit for your Indian registered vehicle

- Vehicle’s RC (Registration certificate)
 - Driving license
 - PUC (Pollution under control) certificate
 - Permit from Customs department
 - A simple Application to get the vehicle’s permit, addressing Sr. Regional Transport officer, Phuentsholing, Bhutan (There is no prescribed format)
 
But before I could start the procedure, It was lunch time. I used the time for shopping.
